The Spirit Lake-Okoboji Girls tennis team downed Cherokee, 8-1, yesterday.
The Indians got singles wins from Rachel Westergaard, Olivia Rohlk, Natalie Delaney,
Heather Sorenson and Hannah Schoning.
The doubles teams of Westergaard and Rohlk, Delaney and Schoning, and Anna Vos and Ryan Petovich were also winners.
Coach Bob O’Hara says, despite the win, he sees at least one area for improvement.

The Spirit Lake-Okoboji Boys tennis team knocked off Cherokee, 7-2, yesterday.
Brandon Stoll, Trystan Wiedow, C.J. Kent, Tyler Schmitz, and Michael O’Brien were all singles winners for the Indians.
Spirit Lake-Okoboji got doubles wins from Stoll and Schmitz, and O’Brien and Ryley Smith.
