Spirit Lake traveled to Sheldon on Friday and the Indians Lake broke a 3-3 tie with a pair of runs in the sixth inning as they won 5-3 to move to 3-0 on the season. With the loss Sheldon stands at 0-2 on the season with both losses coming in non conference play.
The Orabs opened a 3-0 lead in the first inning as Mitchel Jensen and Matt Buenger both reached and scored. Graden Nordahl also reached and scored on an rbi single by Dillon Ennema up the middle.
Spirit Lake plated a run in the second inning and pulled even with two more in the top of the 4th. Seniors Nic Amundson in the lead off spot and Paul Brown in the number three spot drove in two runs each.
