Okoboji High School’s Alex Mankle took fifth overall, in Class 2A, at the State Golf Tournament in Marshalltown. She shot an 80 on Tuesday, and followed that up with an 86 Wednesday. She finished with a two day total of 166.
Sarah McMichael, from Nashua-Plainfield, shot a 160 to win the Class 2A Title.
Emmetsburg’s Ashton Connelly placed 15th in Class 2A with a 177; Taylor Knight was tied for 20th with a 187; Hannah Van Oosbree placed 24th with a 189; Michaela Rehm tied for 30th with a 202; Katie Ruiz tied for 35th with a 205 and Jacque Carlson was 45th with a 222.
The E-Hawks as a team took fourth with a two day total of 748. Alta-Aurelia finished 1st with a 684.
