The Harris-Lake Park Softball team beat Pocahontas Area, 5-3.
Grace Winters, Emily Anderson, Miranda Brueggman, and Macy Gunderson all went
1-3 at the plate. Macy took the win pitching all seven and only giving up
1 earned run.
HLP hosts a tournament, tomorrow, featuring Laurens-Marathon, Unity Christian, and
George-Little Rock.
The Okoboji Softball team beat Spalding Catholic, 5-1, and
fell to Clay Central-Everly, 7-6, in the Okoboji Invitational.
The tournament continues, for the Pioneers, on Saturday at Okoboji High School. Okoboji will face Hartley
Melvin Sanborn, who beat Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire, 7-6, and fell to
Sibley-Ocheydan, 9-7.
GT/RA topped Sibley-Ocheydan, 10-5, yesterday, and they’ll
face Sioux Central, on Saturday. Clay Central
Everly knocked off Spalding Catholic, 10-6, and will take on Sibley-Ocheydan, Saturday.
