Meet Sue!
This gorgeous gal Momma Sue is a pure bred Australin shepherd. You may remember her from the video of the night she was rescued? She had been at large for months and the efforts to secure her were not working. Then during the first ice storm of the season someone found her puppies, and the rest is history. Her pups have all gone to their forever homes and are doing amazing. Now it’s time for Sue to find her forever home. After her pups left the nest, Sue moved on to a foster home as well. She was so sad to be all alone in the puppy room with no one to play with. Her foster has other dogs and cats, and Sue does great with all of them. Sue is about 2 years old, loving and affectionate with her humans. She is kennel trained, house trained and loves to snuggle on the couch. She is learning to play with toys and is still pretty scared of new things but with time and patience she will continue to learn that people care about her and are safe. She would do best in a home with other dogs and older kids. She does prefer women, but she is ok with men. Sue is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $275.00

Meet Freeda!
Who abandons a perfect cat like Freeda? No one at the shelter can imagine leaving this friendly playful tuxedo girl behind on the streets in the depths of Iowa winter. Incredibly, someone did, and Freeda was fortunate to be found and rescued by a neighbor who eventually brought her to us for care they couldn’t provide. Since moving into her new community room, Freeda has enjoyed looking out of the window and probably counting her lucky stars that she isn’t alone out there anymore! Freeda also loves playing with toys and shelter workers as well as stretching out on warm soft blankets. Freeda is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants.
