Comments From Okoboji Coach John Adams
Central Lyon is really good, they’re well-coached, they guard well, they move without the ball on offense and they are so balanced; there’s a lot of reasons they are 16-1. I loved our energy and attention to detail early, and we competed very well for 20 minutes but they wore us down with their tough defense, and we are just struggling to put the ball in the basket right now. I know that this group will respond, and we have no time to hang our heads with a great West Lyon team coming to town on Tuesday. We want to thank Coach Grafing and her Central Lyon program for their acts of kindness with their donation to our Pioneers vs Cancer Night as well as their senior forward Brooklyn Krull for leading both teams in a very inspirational prayer before the game; really a class-act program.

Comments From Okoboji Coach Ryan Stumbo
Give Central Lyon a lot of credit. They are a great team. We struggled to set a tone defensively early tonight and could not get enough stops throughout the game to tighten the score. They had many different guys step up to hit shots and guarded us well to make things difficult for us offensively in the second half. We will need to learn from this one and keep working to get better as we end the regular season.
