Comments From Okoboji Coach John Adams
“We just didn’t have that sense of urgency that you need to beat a quality team like Sibley-Ocheyedan. We guarded pretty well for three quarters but let things get away from us some at the end of the second quarter with their 13-0 run. Montana had a great game again in the paint and Carly did a good job taking some charges and disrupting things on defense. It’s hard to win a game scoring 37 points and we’ve got to figure out how to get that fixed. We’ve got no time to pout about this one with ELC up next tomorrow as they are one of the best teams in Class 3A.”

Comments From Okoboji Coach Ryan Stumbo
We got out to an incredibly slow start tonight and struggled to find a rhythm throughout the game. Give Sibley-Ocheyedan a lot of credit for working hard defensively all night. We were proud of the will our guys showed to fight through to ultimately get the job done. We took care of business at the free throw line and hit some big shots at the right moments to give us the win.
