Comments From Okoboji Girls Coach John Adams:
We are so proud of the fight that our girls showed tonight against one of the best teams not only in the Siouxland Conference but in the State of Iowa. Our energy and attention to detail on the defensive end of the court set the tone early, and we just kept battling all game long. Ella was great on both ends of the court, and to have three girls score seven points was great to see. If we can keep guarding like this we showed that we can play with anyone. Brooklyn Meyer is as good of a player as you’ll find at the high school level, and while she still had 23 points I thought Montana and Megan Titterington really made her work for all of them. We’re excited to get back on the court tomorrow with our game at GTRA and continue to grow together.

Comments From Okoboji Boys Coach Ryan Stumbo:
We were proud of the effort and hustle our boys showed tonight. We had our opportunities and competed hard. Credit West Lyon for making enough good plays at the end of the game. We are learning some important lessons and will use them to keep getting better in the future.
