Spirit Lake and Storm Lake boys tennis teams made up a rained out dual meet this afternoon, with Storm Lake taking the match 6-3. The Indians wins came from Wes Bergquist in the #2 singles and Brandon Stoll at the #5 singles spot. Nelson Davis and Mitch O’Neil then pulled out a 10-8 tiebreaker victory in the #2 doubles match. Both Spirit Lake and Storm Lake will be apart of Thursday’s Class 1-A District tennis meet hosted by Spencer. It will feature singles and doubles players from seven schools, including Estherville Lincoln Central. Weather permitting, the matches should begin sometime in the late morning.
