Iowa Lakes freshman and Estherville native Macy Milburn has concluded her 54 holes at the National Junior College Women’s Golf Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida. Milburn’s fired a second consecutive round of 94, giving her a three-day total of 289.
Scott Benson scored the lowest round of the two Laker men competing in the Men’s National Championships, shooting a 69. That brings his three-day total to 221. Jarvis Weber came in one stroke behind Benson, shooting a 75, which brings his three-day total to 225. Benson is tied for 23rd overall and Weber tied for 40th. Both will take to the course in Goodyear, Arizona one final time on Friday. Weber’s tee time is 10:39 and Benson’s 1:39.
