The Spirit Lake Park-Okoboji soccer teams were in action earlier this week. The boys team saw their season come to an unexpected end on Monday in the first round of the Class 2A Substate tournament, falling 2-1 at home to Storm Lake. Meanwhile the SLP-O girls defeated the Tornados 3-2 behind goals from Hannah Marsh, Shelby Rohlf, and Brandy Fowler. They will travel to Unity Christian next week Tuesday for the first round of the postseason.
