The Class 3A quarterfinals finished up on Tuesday night and while the Storm Lake Tornadoes put three in double figures, led by 20 from Slone Masters, Algona came away with the win and a final four berth, taking a 57-49 decision from Storm Lake. Algona went 18-27 from the foul line where Storm Lake shot just two free throws in the contest. Thursday night, it will be Bishop Heelan against Ballard and Waukon versus Algona (25-0) in the 3A semifinals.
