In cross country, Spirit Lake Park competed at the Sheldon Invite, and came away with two third-place finishes. The Spirit Lake Park girls squad trailed just Unity Christian and Sioux Center in the team points, with Spencer in fourth, and Estherville-Lincoln Central/Armstrong-Ringsted seventh. The top Indians runner was Bryanna Brunsvold, who came in with a fourth-place time of 15:33, followed closely by KJ Veldman in sixth place. Two others finished in the top-25.
