The Okoboji boys and girls cross country team ran a successful meet at Central Lyon/George-Little Rock. The girls finished in fifth place, while Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn was second and Sibley-Ocheyedan third. Clare Eckard came away with a second-place finish individually, at a time of 16:15. Jordan Duncan finished 19th. In the boys race, the Pioneers ended the night in sixth place. They were paced by Joe Hilsabeck’s seventh-place run of 18:07. Taylor Cody wasn’t far off in twelfth place. Okoboji will run in the Siouxland Conference meet next Tuesday.
