The girls game was a more closely decided contest than the boys between Emmetsburg and Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn, with Emmetsburg taking a narrow 40-35 decision. Nicole Leuer paced the E-Hawks with a dozen points, while Onica Jacobs had twelve and Holli Mohni eleven for HMS. The win puts Emmetsburg at 4-8 and the loss has the Hawks sitting at 3-9.
