Lakes Conference rivals Spirit Lake-Okoboji and Estherville-Lincoln Central took to the tennis courts Monday for girls and boys matches. The boys of SL-O won a rain-shortened match by an 8-0 final. Brandon Stoll (10-0), Wes Bergquist (10-0), Brett Kraus (10-0), Tyler Bice (10-5), Jordan Richey (10-0), and Trystan Wiedow (10-1) all won their singles matches, with the Indians also taking the top two doubles matches (10-1 and 10-0). The third was cut short due to rain. On the girls side, Spirit Lake-Okoboji led the Midgets 3-0 when the rains set in, officially raining out the match. Alli Gerking (10-0), KJ Veldman (10-0), and Holly Seemann (10-3) had all won their singles matches with ease before Mother Nature intervened.
