Harris-Lake Park hosted three schools for their annual baseball tournament on Saturday. The Wolves took down Sibley-Ocheyedan, 3-1, before falling to Newell-Fonda, 2-0. HLP hosts Clay Central-Everly for a twinbill on Monday. The nightcap of that doubleheader can be heard live on Q102 and at ExploreOkoboji.com. The tournament also saw Sibley-Ocheyedan fall to Laurens-Marathon, 9-2.
Elsewhere in high school baseball, Spencer went 1-2 at the Carroll Kuemper Catholic Tournament. The Tigers defeated Harlan, 7-6, and took losses against Carroll, 5-3, and Council Bluffs St. Albert, 10-4. Spencer welcomes in Spirit Lake this evening for a Lakes Conference showdown that will be broadcast live on KUOO Campus Radio and online at Network1Sports.com.
Estherville-Lincoln Central played a pair of games on Saturday. The Midgets took down OA-BCIG by a 2-0 final, but lost 7-6 to Humboldt.
