After winning the Iowa state championship of the Pacesetter tournament back in March, a group of Okoboji seventh graders will be taking the “big” floor at the Target Center in Minneapolis today (Saturday) looking for an even bigger trophy. The Okoboji girls seventh-grade basketball team will participate in the Pacesetter Great Four-State Youth Basketball Championship, against teams from Minnesota and the Dakotas. They will open at 12:05 against Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton of Minnesota. The team is 26-4 heading into these championships and features Shaelyn Adams, Megan Peschong, Kailye Hromatko (??), Cory Hoffman, Breanne Kopera, Brenna McCabe, Emily Wintz, Grace Goehring, Brooklyn Barnett, Mallory Miller and Jaydn Barnett.
