A pair of Spirit Lake interior lineman are being recognized for their hard-work this past fall, making the Sioux City Journal’s All-Northwest Iowa Football Team. Senior Andrew Brooks has been selected as a defensive lineman, while fellow senior Sawyer Harms earns the honor as an offensive tackle. The Emmetsburg E-Hawks are represented by senior defensive lineman Andrew Garrelts.
Other area players named to the first-team by the SCJ were West Lyon wideout Adam Teunissen and offensive lineman Lucas Bouwman, Sheldon DB Chris Balster, lineback Dallas Rozeboom and defensive back Brandt Van Roeckel of Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley, and Central Lyon/Geoge-Little Rock defensive lineman Matt Nagel.
