The soccer squads of Spirit Lake Park-Okoboji hit the road for a non-conference doubleheader against West Sioux, and despite heavy winds, both teams picked up shutout victories. The boys earned a 4-0 decision. Zubeen Azari had a pair of goals, and Brett Cochran-Bray chipped in with one as well. However, the star of the night was Kade Heikens, who recorded a goal and three assists in the win.

The girls of SLP-O also picked up a win, their first of the season, defeating West Sioux by a 2-0 final.
Elsewhere on the soccer pitch, Spencer swept Western Christian in shutout fashion. The Tigers earned a 7-0 win over the Wolfpack in the boys match, while the girls of Spencer notched a 3-0 decision.
