Despite rough weather conditions, the Emmetsburg boys golf team stayed the course and won the 2012 Palo Alto County Golf Meet. The E-Hawks registered a 175 team total, finishing ahead of Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (189) and West Bend-Mallard (198). Mike Meyers was the meet medalist with a 42 for Emmetsburg. Teammate Mike Pugh took runner-up honors with a 44. GT/RA was led by Dylan Smith with a 44 and Tyler Dalen carded a 45.
