Spirit Lake-Okoboji tennis enjoyed a highly successful night against LeMars, picking up a pair of wins. The SL-O girls won at home by an 8-1 margin. KJ Veldman (10-8), Hannah Coenen (10-7), Rachel Westegard (10-5), Margaret Delaney (10-2), Olivia Rohlk (10-3), and Amanda Bueltel (10-2) swept the singles matches. In doubles, SL-O won two of three, with Veldman/Rohlk (10-3), and Margaret and Natalie Delaney (10-7), each securing wins. The undefeated girls tennis team will go for its 50th consecutive Lakes Conference dual victory Tuesday against Cherokee.

In LeMars, the Spirit Lake-Okoboji boys powered right through the Bulldogs, winning 9-0. Brandon Stoll (10-3), Wes Bergquist (10-1), Trystan Wiedow (10-4), Connor Rowley (10-4), Andrew Ites (10-5), and Jackson Walsh (10-4) pick up the singles victories. On the doubles side, it was Stoll/Bergquist (10-2), Wiedow/Rowley (11-10, 2), and Ites/Izaak Plunkett (10-6) outpacing LeMars.
