The 2012 KUOO/Q102 Spirit Lake Invitational Softball Tournament ended with a pair of Lakes Conference teams boasting unblemished records after a full day of games. Eighth-ranked ELC and Western Christian both went 3-0 on the day, tying for the title in the twelve-team event. The Midgets’ biggest win came in a 4-0 blanking of No. 11 Central Springs. Spirit Lake earned wins over Kingsley/Pierson and West Bend-Mallard, while Okoboji’s lone win came against familiar foe Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire. GTRA finished the day with three losses, as did the Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals. Here are all the results from the tournament:
