LeVar Woods Returning for 3rd Annual Football Academy in Okoboji

In less than one week, youth football players will have an
opportunity to again learn from some of the best players and coaches the state
of Iowa has
ever seen. The 3rd Annual
LeVar Woods
Football Academy
returns to the Bedell Y starting this Sunday and running through Tuesday. Last
year LeVar Woods introduced a highly successful 7-on-7 Tournament to start the
event. Now the camp’s founder says this year’s academy will begin with a
competition for those working hard in the trenches…(click here for comment from Woods).

Both competitions will run from 9am-4pm and are for high
school aged players only. The actual football academy will then begin early
Sunday evening with some classroom time…(click here for comment from Woods).

As has been the case the past two summers, the big draw for
many youth football players is the chance to learn from and work with current
and former Hawkeyes and NFL standouts…(click here for comment from Woods).

Woods says camp registration numbers are ahead of last
year’s total a week prior to camp, and that the reach continues to expand beyond
Iowa and Minnesota. Anyone still interested in
registering for the camp can visit www.levarwoodsfootball.com
