streak has reached double-digits after Friday night’s 9-2 win over rival

Tigers drop to 3-5 in league play and will participate in the Carroll Kuemper
Catholic Tournament over the weekend. The Indians, with their ten-game streak,
boast a 15-5 mark overall and 8-2 league record. They will host league
frontrunner LeMars on Monday, and KUOO will have provide the coverage.

Behind a four-hit night that included a home run by senior
Zach Jones, Okoboji pounded out a 9-3 victory over Siouxland Conference rival
Sibley-Ocheyedan on Friday. Jones finished with four RBI and as the game’s
winning pitcher, striking out nine and surrendering the three runs on ten hits.
Keith Oskvig pitched in with three runs scored. The Pioneers snap a four-game
skid and improve to 3-5 in the league. Okoboji travels to Boyden-Hull/Rock
Valley on Monday.
