Center on the road by a
7-1 margin. Zach Jones drove in three runs on three hits, and fellow senior
Alex Koepp plated two more on his two base knocks. Dalton Syverson allowed five
hits and struck out three in throwing the complete game shutout. The Pioneers
improve to five wins and nine losses in league play, with one final game
remaining against George-Little Rock on Thursday.
Elsewhere, North Union
dominated a non-conference game with Pocahontas Area/Pomeroy-Palmer, winning
9-0.
