An extra innings loss is how Harris-Lake Park concluded the baseball regular season, falling 4-3 in ten innings on Friday in Lake Park. The Rebels rallied to score two runs in the seventh to force the additional innings, and then plated a run in the top of the tenth for the win. HLP ends the regular season on a three-game skid and with an overall record of 14-11. They will open the Class 1A Districts on Tuesday with a road game at Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn. Spencer struggled to a 10-2 non-conference loss Friday at Algona Bishop Garrigan. Austin Allen had one of the Tigers four total hits, a two-run blast in the first inning. Blake Seier took the loss, allowing six earned runs on ten hits in just over five innings of work. Spencer owns a 13-12 record and will return to Algona again Monday for a game against the Bulldogs.
